2K Dustpan Mould

Project introduction:

For dustpan, the most common problem is the edge will bend, it is difficult to sweep all dust in, the solution for this problem is to add a soft edge.

In traditional way, the factory will make the plastic dustpan first, then assemble the soft edge to plastic dustpan, it will takes time and more labor cost.

Two components injection give a better solution, we make the dustpan with soft edge directly in one stage. As in this project, we use rotary table two components injection molding, first shot injection PP part, then mould rotate to another side to make 2^nd shot with TPE material. It comes with a finish dustpan with soft edge directly. Even you pay higher cost for mould and machine at beginning, but it help you save the labor and space cost.
