In the production process some problems can not be found by naked eyes, and need to be modified many times to be qualified. These small problems must be found and solved before production. Therefore, the trial mold is an important means to test the main parameters of the mold. In order to avoid product defects caused by mold design, it is necessary to analyze the mold design and process parameters when making the mold, so as to achieve high quality requirements.
How to make effective mould testing ? I have the following suggestions:
1)Check whether the material in the barrel is correct or not. If the trial mold is different from the raw material of production, the result may be different.
2)The barrel must be cleaned. Prevent poorly dissolved rubber or miscellaneous materials from being injected into the mold and causing the mold to jam.
3) Reasonable adjustment to reduce the total processing cycle.
4) At least one dozen full sample products are produced continuously after the new condition is adjusted. Marking the date and quantity on the container, and placing them separately according to the cavities of the molds, so as to test the stability of their real operation. (Especially valuable for multi-cavity molds).
5) Measure and record the important dimensions of the consecutive samples .
Compare the size of each molded product, and pay attention to:
A. Whether the size of the product is stable
B. Whether some dimensions have a tendency to increase or decrease
C. Whether the variation of dimensions is within tolerance.
If the dimensions of the finished product do not vary much and the processing conditions are normal, observe whether the quality of the finished product for each cavity is acceptable and the dimensions are within the allowable tolerances.

Note down the number of consecutive holes that are larger or smaller than the average, in order to check whether the dimensions of the mold are correct or not. Record the parameters obtained during the mold testing process, record and analyze the data for the modification of the mold and production conditions, and as a reference for future mass production.
